Curt & Victoria Dieterle are the owners & operators of the sailing yacht Billy Jean.

Curt born in Stuttgart, Germany, is owner and captain of the BILLY JEAN. He has more than 15 years and 20,000 miles of sailing experience including sailing across the Atlantic. He began sailing at a young age on lakes in Germany then branched out to sailing the Mediterranean waters. After buying BILLY JEAN, he set sails for the Canary Islands and the warm waters of the Caribbean with charter guests who wanted blue water experience. In former times he was the manager of a dancing school and a restaurant. Curt enjoys people and speaks German, English, Spanish and some French.

Victoria born and raised in New York, Italian and Puerto Rican background. She was the owner of a Northern Italian and Swiss restaurant in her home town of New York. Her love of the water comes from her father whom always owned boats of various sizes and styles. With many different trades under her hat, she is a great conversationalist. Victoria is also sitting on the board of governors and is the past vice president of the Virgin Island Charter League "V.I.C.L.".

In October 2002, Victoria has completed and passed all US Coast Guard classes to become a licensed 100 ton Master Mariner Captain.  She also fulfilled the Safety Training STCW-95 course including fire-fighting, water-safety. first-aid and CPR.

They are a fun loving couple, married 2001 and live all year long in St. Thomas,  who will look after and care for your every need. They both love music and have a great variety to share with their guest. Dancing is an important part of their lives (Curt being a dance teacher and having his own school), they enjoy a great night out at the local spots or a quiet night under the stars. Entertaining is what they do best and they will show you paradise and all the little treasures that make the Virgin Islands so great.

The variety of there cooking skills (both Curt and Victoria are chefs), covers a wide selection of dishes. These dishes include German, Italian, Spanish, Swiss style and then there is your local Caribbean dishes.
